Founders’ Story: Edmond & Angela Hook

Couples Carry Community was born from a shared conviction: that covenant love is worth defending, nurturing, and growing, especially in a world that often pulls couples apart. As husband and wife, Edmond and Angela Hook have walked through seasons of joy, challenge, and transformation. Their journey has been marked by faith, courage, and a deep commitment to serve others through relational stewardship and spiritual formation.

Angela, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Grief Counselor, brings compassionate insight and healing presence to women and couples navigating life’s complexities. Edmond, a USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor, elder, and veteran, equips others with faith-integrated training that blends protection, discipleship, and practical strategy. Together, they embody the mission of Couples Carry: to empower couples to Date, Defend, and Disciple, not just for themselves, but for the communities they lead and love.

What began as a vision for relational safety and spiritual growth has become a movement. Through workshops, gatherings, and resources, Couples Carry Community invites couples to reclaim connection, walk in covenant, and rise with courage.
